We are now the only Quarantine kennels covering Devon and Cornwall. We offer full 6 month quarantine facilities or the PETS Early Release Scheme. Built in 1993 our kennels are large and spacious with a minimum of 110sq ft of exercise area in each unit. Each kennel has an internal bedroom area individually heated together with a large exterior run. We are a small quarantine station with only 17 kennels. We are, therefore, able to offer individual Love and attention to each dog in our care. We are set in the beautiful South Devon countryside benefiting from a milder climate than most other parts of the UK. On-line quarantine enquiry - CLICK HERE
Kennel Sharing
Under quarantine regulations from DEFRA a maximum of three dogs are allowed to share one unit. These dogs must be from the same family.
Feeding
Dogs are fed a complete diet, with a tripe flavored gravy. We are also able to offer light diets, senior diets, tinned meats or cooked chicken with mixer. Special diets are catered for on request and may be subject to a small additional cost. You are welcome to bring in titbits and treats but please tell us what you are giving to your pet just in case of tummy upsets.
Visiting
After the initial 48 hour settling in period. Owners are welcome to visit daily between 1.30 and 4.30pm. With the exception of the Xmas and New Year bank holidays. It is our experience that dogs benefit greatly from regular visits.
Veterinary Care
A Veterinary Surgeon attends the quarantine kennels six days a week, as this is required by DEFRA. He is on call for emergencies at all times. On arrival into Quarantine your dog will receive a complete health check and will automatically be vaccinated for Rabies (not on PETS scheme) and Kennel Cough. We insist that dogs are fully vaccinated against Distemper etc. on arrival. If your dog does not have up to date vaccinations these will be administered and billed directly to you from the veterinary surgery. We strongly recommend that you take out Pet Health Care insurance to cover your dog during the stay in quarantine.
Collection
We are approved carrying agents for DEFRA which means we will collect your dog from the port/airport of arrival. We will ensure that all customs requirements are met.

Once you decide to book all you need to do is complete the Application and Agreement Form. We will then arrange for all the necessary documents for a smooth entry to the UK. We can arrange to book flights for you. Please contact us by email or phone to discuss costs and payment facilities.
